I am not convinced that half of the supposed lyrics to "Shooting Rockets" are ever spoken. thats why i want them to tour (just one of many reasons), to see if dan knows all the supposed lyrics. ive heard of a rumoured unmixed version of the album that may have it so all the words are hearable.

Also, in "Are You Swimming in Her Pools?", I'm nearly positive that at least once, Krug is saying 'the [tigers/child] is the [tigers/child] I am SINGING to', rather than "seeing to", as the lyricbook suggests (and which, frankly, makes absolutely no sense). I think that may simply be the way he sings. It just doesn't always sound like what he's really saying. You may be right about Shooting Rockets, though.

I listened to a few tracks in the store before I bought it, and what really got me to was the begining of nubile days. and I adore the Freedom and Are You Swimming in her Pools?.

I very much enjoy this album, and as time progresses I enjoy the album more. I find myself wanting to sing different parts of the album, but not knowing the words or where it is on the album. There is so much catchiness buried and subdued within the mix. There's a world of beauty and gold in there, and I don't know if I will ever completely know this album. From an artistic standpoint, that's commendable; from a commercial one, it is very brave.
Swan Lake is what introduced me to Dan Bejar. For that I am eternally grateful.
